Hamm & Clov's
ANAM PROJECT is moving into new territory this fall. The soul is Italian
and the project is an original clown/dance-theater piece, THE ACROBAT,
created and performed and designed by an Italian immigrant, Carlo Adinolfi,
thanks in part to a 2005 Arts Alive Artist Grant from the Westchester Arts
Council.
THE ACROBAT, directed by Renee Philippi, featuring Carlo Adinolfi, will
be presented at the Yonkers Riverfront Library on Sunday, December 11, 2005,
at 3pm. Inspired by the Italian heritage of the
artists involved the clown/dance-theater piece includes a good dose of Commedia
del Arte as it tells the story of a man who is losing his dignity and tries
to find a meaningful place for himself in the world.
